Metal additive manufacturing represents a technological revolution that offers new prospects for several industries. In this context, AUBADE project aims at developing Ti-6Al-4V aerospace parts by Electron Beam Melting (EBM) process. This work funded by the Walloon Region (BEWARE Academia program) rely on a consortium involving an industrial partner: Safran Aero Boosters and the academic 4MAT department. Qualifying titanium parts produced by powder-bed EBM process for aerospace requires a better understanding of the technology. Thus, during two years, AUBADE project is committed to increase the know-how of EBM process through three research axes: powder recyclability, processing parameters effects and microstructure control.
